"Glacier" is a short series of ceramic drawings from my collection of imaginary landscapes. Each one, a meditation upon the physical properties of geomorphic processes, is meticulously drawn with a glaze pencil, then coated with a layer of matte glaze, and fired to maturity. Tectonic shifts, ice crystals, the erosive forces of rain and wind upon sediment - these are the natural phenomena I looked to for inspiration.
