Near Kiss is a ceramic drawing from my collection of imaginary landscapes. A meditation upon the physical properties of geomorphic processes, it is meticulously drawn with a glaze pencil, then coated with a layer of matte glaze, and fired to maturity. Tectonic shifts, ice crystals, the erosive forces of rain and wind upon sediment; these are the natural phenomena I looked to for inspiration. 

The panels come ready to hang with custom made cleats and can be installed as shown or side by side for linear dramatic effect.
